I created this on a random whisp of inspiration (inspired by the artist Christi Friesen from one of her polymer clay books). In the past, I have been AWFUL at polymer clay - I had no idea what I was doing. Then, to my delight, I flip through this book, spot a few pictorial examples of techniques, and sat down and pulled out this guy. He's my Broken Heart, and he was made as a gift for my mate. He's made with Primo Sculpey, metal jump rings opened REAL wide with needlenose pliers, class beads, a bit of BJD-sized metal chain, and nails, with a raw sienna patina over the band-aid. He was a fun little bugger to make, and made me reconsider doing Sculpey stuff. Please ignore the weird background... I took a picture of him on my leg at my mate's house today.. >>
